Pawmetto Lifeline’s Spay/Neuter Clinic is partnering with the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) to provide free surgeries for puppies and kittens ages six months or younger to pet owners in Gaston, Pelion and Swansea. Puppies and kittens will receive their spay/neuter surgery and all age appropriate vaccinations. Surgeries and medical services at the clinic are made possible by a grant through the ASPCA. Pawmetto Lifeline’s Spay/Neuter Clinic concentrates its efforts most aggressively on communities with high rates of animal reproduction and pets belonging to low-income populations. Pawmetto Lifeline will transport pets from these selected high-need areas to the clinic for surgery. Residents must provide proof of a Pelion, Swansea or Gaston address to take advantage of the offer.
