Join the "PEt Pawty"
The fun isn't restricted to us two-legged creatures, either. On Saturday, May 18th, the Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission, to support the Meals on Wheels Program, will be hosting a pet friendly event at the Red Bank Horse Arena dubbed the "Pet Pawty." Proceeds of the day's event will benefit seniors and their pets. The Pet Pawty Festival kicks off at 9 a.m. with a pet walk sponsored by Southern Paws and Tails Magazine, and there will be family friendly activities throughout the day including Agility Dog and Fly Ball exhibitions, Victor Carrabotta of Marvel Comics doing pet portraits and caricatures, a petting zoo, inflatables, games such as Cow Bingo, and entertainment including Miss River City Teen 2013. The Pawty goes until 2 p.m., leash your pets and bring them along with the whole family.
